Altar Servers are young men and women between the ages of seven and twenty,
who assist at liturgy in the parish. For more information, contact

Cantors lead the People of God in song at liturgy. The cantor also sings
the verses of the Responsorial Psalm at Mass. Cantors are also offered
the opportunity to participate as singers during Solemn Vespers in
Advent and Lent. For more information contact the Cathedral Music Director,

The Cathedral Choir is a group of dedicated men and women who support
the full, conscious, and active participation of the People of God
in song during liturgical celebrations. Singers of all vocal parts
and experience levels are invited to join the choir. The Cathedral
music program is conciously grounded in the documents of the Second
Vatican Council (particularly the Constitution on the Divine Liturgy).
Pride of place is given to the use of the organ and Gregorian chant.
Renaissance polyphony and other styles also used. Service music (the
Common of the Mass) generally is drawn from traditional style of modern
liturgical music.

Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist assist the Ordinary Ministers of
the Eucharist in the distribution of the Body and Blood of Christ at Mass.

The Linen Team cares for the altar linens. If you are looking for a meditative

Lectors proclaim the Word of God at Mass and at other liturgical celebrations.
Lectors also announce the petitions of the General Intercessions at liturgies
where a Deacon is not present. For more information contact the Cathedral

Sacristans serve by preparing all the physical elements needed for the
Mass. They prepare the vessels for the Eucharistic Liturgy, put out
appropriate quantities for bread and wine, assist the presider and
other ministers in vesting, ensure that the books are properly placed,
and purify the vessels used for Communion. For more information, contact

Ushers assist in seating people during liturgies.
They are also responsible for taking up collections and for recruiting
gift bearers at Mass.
They assist in establishing and maintaining order during processions,
especially the Communion Procession at Mass. For more information,
